Diet plans for teens
By RumiI get tones of emails about diet plans for teens. I don’t answer teens personally because my understanding is that they need to speak with their parents not to a strange in Internet (aka me). Anyway, I decide to share my personal opinion what should be a good diet plan for a teenager.
The first thing that needs consideration is that teens spend/need more energy compared to an adult person. Or this was true 10 years ago, when computers were not so spread and teens didn’t tent to sit for a long time playing games or chatting.
I will assume that a teenager is more active person who grows and needs a little bit more energy to sustain life. Diet plans for teens can’t be very restrictive in calories; they need to be restrictive by the type of foods but not by calories.
We all know that junk food is not good for the health and you can gain weight if you eat it regularly.
1. It is a cliché but stop eating junk food and you should see quick results and you will start to lose weight immediately.
2. Stop drinking soda.
3. Stop eating sweets more than twice per week.
Follow just these 3 steps and you should see fats weight loss.
Activity is important. Consider sport activity once or twice per week – this will speed your metabolism and combined with above 3 steps is like a fat eraser.
You don’t need diet plans for teens – just don’t eat and drink junk things and consider some activity – it is so simple!
But if you insist here is a good diet for teens.
hi am a wrestiler and i am on the point where i may not make the waith that i want! i wheight 51.8 kilos and i whant to be in the 51 wheight class! that means that i must be under 51! i don’t want to move up what do i do!
i swim for two hours a week and wrestilel for 10. i eat really healthy! should i not eat!
no u should not stop eating. studys show that if u stop eating u will actually gain weight. SORRY BUT U WILL. u probably have more mussle then u have fat and mussle weighs 3 times more then fat good luke and injoy life.
ok my brother is a wrestler and no dont jut stop eating because as soon as u do or drink water its gonna come right back. try to sweat more if u want to loose weight. some people dont understand how wrestling works but i o i know how tough it is. so trying eating just tons of fruits and veggies. drink only water and wear tons of clothing all the time so u sweat and run a lot it helps

ok so im 16 im about 5′6 ft and i weigh about 215 im a frickin cheerleader and i llook horrod in my uniform and i just really need help loosing weight and idk how to do it. i had a deit plan last year and i couldnt stick with it, it was hard and boring i had to eat the same foods all the time and i dont want that. i want guys to like me for me and to not just look at my weight. so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know @ lizhenry14@gmail.com

I have tried working out since I last commented on here and my mom bought that P90X wrkout. I stll dont like to execise and I eat and I cant rely on marching band cuz marching band season is over. And those workouts my mom bought r 2 hard! I guess I am going to be fat all my life!
ok so for sheerleading we do this workout dance video and its really fun and u work up a sweat and i know it sounds bad coming from me since im still overweight and fat but it has helped me loose some weight. you can get the hip hop video at wal*mart for like 10 to 15 dollars and its fun try to get some friends to do it with you and yea….
Hello, I am the mother of a very insecure thirteen year old. She has begun to get really interested in boys at her age. She always say “mom i need to lose weight”, and I know she is self concious at her age. What could work best in helping her to get what she needs before going into highschool

hi, im 16 and i totally under what your daughter is going through i went through the same exact thing and the best thing to do is not a “diet” but a “life style change”. ive done the diet thing and they dont work just cut back on junk and bring on the fruit and veggies and have the whole family do it, it shows that every1 is supporting her….i wish my family would have so i hope this helped and if she needs someone to talk to let me know i would love to help her out

Hi, I’m 16 years old and I have a bit of a weight problem. The problem is that I am a 3 sport athlete, softball, volleyball, and basketball. But i just can’t seem to lose any weight. I want to lose some weight quickly so can anyone give me some help?

Im 14 nearly 15, everyone says im not fat and that im thin, but i look at myself and i want to loose weight. I want a flatter tummy and thinner legs, i do the lunges and sit ups and jogging and things like that on the WII fit, but i really want to be thin and feel happy in myself, Although the WII says im ideal weight i dont feel it and want to make myself thinner. Does anyone have any tips of how i could loose the weight?.
I have stopped eating all junk foods and cut down on snacks, i only eat a small breakfast, lunch and dinner. I dont drink many fizzy drinks, i have the occasional drink with parents and at partys, i dont smoke or anything. But i just want to feel confident.
Im 14 going on 15 and im about 50 pd. over weight for my age i want to get more lean,skinner, and muscular. I did exersize and diets but they dont work. does any one have any suggestions on this. I was thinkin going on a matisolisom diet than a regular one but dont know if it will work.
